Les Parfums de Rosine Zephir de Rose Eau de Parfums - Another Rogeon home-run with outstanding staying power. We can't help wondering just how many things she can do to a rose, and we fervently hope she's many more up her sleeve.
Created in 2008 by François Robert, from a concept by Marie-Helene Rogeon.
A combination of rose and anise. An ethereal rose, a pure rose, a cool brushing breath of air on a field of wild roses.
Top note : Anise, Basil, Rose
Heart note : Bulgarian Rose essence
Base note : Damask Rose, Ambrette (amber)
Zephir de Rose conjures up a velvety antique damask with hints of spice and hints of sweet...Dune roses, attar of rose and rose absolut are at the heart of this enchantress---it's sparkling and fresh and young and green with wisps of black currant and strawflower and a soupcon of amber, white musk and vetiver in the drydown (these are barely discernible, mind you; powerful as these notes can be they cannot begin to tame the youthful caprice of the rose accords).
