Tubereuse, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier
Tubereuse from Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier - This is the tuberose to end all tuberoses, in our humble opinion (no offense intended to the other gorgeous tuberoses on our site). Comprised primarily and simply of Tuberose Absolut and musk, this highly exotic wonder is a tad bit green and as soft as cashmere...incredibly voluptuous and romantic and feminine but not smarmy or intrusive...as close to perfection as we've come across.
Top Notes: Tuberose absolut, roses, leafy green accords
Heart Notes: Jasmine absolut
Base Notes: Musk, ambergris.
Under its sweetly innocuous white dress, the tuberose flower reveals its enchanting and perhaps a bit troubling, almost carnal personality, often reminiscent of butter. A flower of desire, Tubereuse, as interpreted by Jean-Francois LaPorte, also exudes wisps of rose and jasmine, followed by white musk and rich grey amber---all of which cushion and envelop the heady tuberose.
