Les Parfums de Rosine  After working for houses such as Givenchy and Pierre Balmain, Marie-Heine Rogeon (great-granddaughter of Napoleon III's moustache-creme creator) reintroduced Les Parfums de Rosine in 1991, utilizing formulations originally created in the 1920's by Paul Poirot. The scents begin with the airy Summer Rose and from there all bets are off - startlingly innovative and often daring takes on our cherished roses. Rogeon's piece de resistance, La Rose de Rosine, is a knockout cocktail of rose and violet; Poussiere is an elegant powdery-rosy blend of apricot and frankincense and cinnamon. Single perfumed soaps and new candles now grace our shelves, and finally - Take a look at two of her latest additions to the lineup: Rose d'Amour and Twill Rose are must-haves.
