Agraria Burning Sticks are long-lasting incense tapers infused with the rich aromas of the four original scents we cannot get enough of. Packed in boxes of forty tapers, each taper burns for about forty minutes. We suggest a dozen or so in a bowl of polished pebbles to light when the mood strikes.
Or perhaps something better suited to the holiday season? A collection of vintage glass ornaments? A ceramic jug filled with gingerbread men/women (preferably the non-edible variety)? Or one of our favorite methods: in place of one clove jammed into our clove-studded orange pomanders, we insert one bitter orange taper---line 7 or 9 of these on your mantelpiece, light the fire, and prepare to be complimented on your cleverness.
(Need we add that you should also prepare for the inevitable "incense detritus"---we place our pomanders in vintage silver bowls; if you don't happen to have any of those lying about, virtually anything will suffice. We do not recommend placing the studded oranges directly on your mantel---but of course this is up to you.)
