Bond No. 9's Broadway Nite Eau de Parfum (for women) - this will occupy a very special place in our hearts here at luscious as it was the very first Bond that we sniffed. And we were smitten, transfixed, besotted - in a word, hooked. And it would appear we're not alone.
The quintessence of everything round and lush and plummy, Broadway Nite is gloriously girly yet almost preternaturally elegant, if you can imagine. It's also one of the very rare scents we feel would not be considered a unisex scent. To be sure, there are men out there who love their Broadway Nite - we're merely generalizing for those of you who write us asking for guidance re: gender-appropriate scents. (And our feeling on that score in any event is "if you like it, wear it.")
As intoxicating and vibrant as The Great White Way for which it's named, Broadway Nite's notes read like a fantasy order from your fave florist. Opening with green violet and aldehydes, it languishes for a bit and then drifts lazily into the creamiest imaginable miasma of rose, iris, honeysuckle, and heliotrope. The heart never really leaves you but instead is joined by vanilla bean, musk and amber - which, as you can imagine, dries down to something resembling ambrosia.
Presented in Bond's signature and already instantly recognizable star-shaped bottle, here in a very handy and quite manageable 50 ml. size, nestled inside their staggeringly striking signature gift box of gold and white. A legend in the making.
