The first joyful step towards the spritzing of the eau de toilette, it leaves the skin soft and lightly scented with fragrance. And, of course, a must-have for all of the layerers in us. The sandalwood from Goa selected for Tam Dao imparts a fragrance so beyond mellow, exuding the wood's deepest and richest aspects. Rosewood brings its freshness to the heart of the accord, while the camphorated essences of the Italian cypress and myrtle from the Mediterranean maquis reveal their woody, airy notes. The sandalwood expresses its sensuality, spiciness and nobility. The cedar that accompanies it provides its inimitable dryness, while the ambergris anchors all. This is sandalwood as only Diptyque could do it---created in 1983 and wowing 'em ever since..
