Diptyque's Opoponax (Sweet Myrrh) Candle - Diptyque's done it again with their achingly gorgeous Opoponax, which just happens to be the scent of the moment. And an interesting scent to pronounce. But as you'd imagine, the French do opoponax very very well and Diptyque is very very French, so...you do the math. These wizards have fashioned a quietly confident and enviably elegant candle (as is their wont) but this time out have veered just a bit from the beaten path in their somewhat modern treatment of an exotically old-world Somalian bush that is redolent of balsam, myrrh and vanilla at the heart...and in so doing have captured ours.
