Product Code: DIPCAN030 Price: Check Latest Diptyque's Narcisse (Narcissus) Candle - Diptyque's done it again with their cutting-edge and perfectly timed new candle - just as our daffodils are awakening and preparing for that arduous trudge up through the detritus of a blowsy winter and the muck of a Georgia February---they always prevail, though, sturdy little fellows - and though many are unscented, we tend to favor the perfumed hybrids (big surprise). We truly thought we would never find a fragrance, whether personal or home, that so accurately and tenderly captured the winsome beauty of our Sir Winston Churchills - 5 stems of which will perfume a large room for days---and we're very happy to report that we were wrong. Let's face it: the French do cutting-edge cut flowers very very well and Diptyque is very very French. These wizards have fashioned an exuberantly confident and enviably elegant candle (as is their wont) but this time out have steered clear of the often bizarre scents found in many Narcissus candles and have instead given us their typically modern and elegant treatment of the unassuming daffodil. Springtime in French wax - this one's a keeper. And just when we thought Diptyque could not possibly have another new treasure to reveal, we're delighted to report that, come March, we'll have their latest - another of our all-time and very nostalgic favorites - the beloved Sweet Pea.
