Although growing mimosa in our neck of the world was just not meant to be, we can still vividly recall their startlingly sweet and charming scent---so of course we were thrilled to discover that it can now be found in a jar of wax. For fans of mimosa and fans of flowers and fans of Diptyque, Mimosa is highly recommended for - well, everybody. We truly thought we would never find a fragrance, whether personal or home, that so accurately and tenderly captured the winsome beauty and fragile wistfulness of the Mimosa blossom---a small bouquet of which would scent a room in minutes---and we're very happy to report that we were wrong. Let's face it: the French do cutting-edge cut flowers very very well and Diptyque is very very French. These wizards have fashioned an exuberantly confident and playfully sophisticated candle (as is their wont) and, as usual, have steered clear of the cloyingly sweet versions of Mimosa that we've found in our travels. They have instead given us their trademark modern and masterful treatment of the unassuming mimosa blossom, coupled with green hay and sweet honey.
