Diptyque's EAU LENTE - Eau Lente, meaning literally "slow water", is nigh on impossible to pin down via the written word. We think this may have something to do with the fact that the opopanax unfolds unusually slowly, rendering the scent an aspect that is constantly morphing and shifting.
This highly spicy oriental fragrance actually feels warm to the skin after application; the presence of clove and cinnamon (along with a wondrous blend of several Indian spices) coupled with the tiniest hint of vanilla could well be responsible for this. Eau Lente is equally suited to men and women, and highly coveted by both---we cannot keep this one in stock. It is---JUST the thing.
