We'll start, though, with what we know: Sage Pearl is a sinfully rich brew that opens and closes with one of the most sublime vanilla/musk/sandalwood accords we've managed to find. As we live and breathe... Sweet and sassy and full of promise, Pearl bears the requisite Sage freshness and sophistication while skipping the precious bit - no cashmere fibers or black beans in evidence - and it's one of the very few vanillas that we do not think of strictly as comfort food. It comes close in the round musky-woody drydown but is simply too highly-charged and somehow evocative of an espresso joint in New Haven. Men and women will be fighting over this one (unless they've finally learned that it's so much more fun to share). **And now, at long last, available as a handy-dandy spray. What we like to do is spray our pulse points (and out other points) with Amber and fortify it with a dot or two of Pearl oil. Very fortifying. 50ml/1.7 oz
