These particular slippers boast the most divine madras silk of pale pink and fuchsia, lime green and celadon, graced with a huge rose pink bow and suspended from a gold silk cord....can you tell we ADORE these things?? We want them in 40 additional fabrics but now must concentrate our energies on leaving them at the shop; an extremely difficult thing to do! As is the case with all Ivy products, these are the essence of sophistication and elegance and whimsy---quite the nice combination, in our view. And the scent!! A sublime melange of delicate white flowers with lily as the predominant note (no powdery aspect here) that lasts forever and a day...when it begins to fade, simply place it back into its little dust jacket with a few bits of floral potpourri and store it in the back of your closet for a week or so---and then bring it out again to dazzle one and all. Far too pretty to hide in a drawer, we like to just set them about at odd angles, or hang two or three from a chandelier---quite the ice-breaker. And another must-have.
